Boschbar is best described as a bunch of volunteers willing to maintain a 100% independent/non-profit platform for musicians and dj`s and also provide a meeting point where people can just hang out for a beer or two while listening to good/bad/interesting/ funny/strange music. Over 25 years after it came to existence it still exists, run by about 20 people who organize concerts every monday from 10pm.

Boschbar is strictly uncommercial, nobody earns money, profit is spent for charities. We all stand for self-organized spaces, are loosely connected to squats in Zurich and do the bar at squats on special occasions. As we’re not doing this on a professional basis we try to keep everything as simple as possible.
